As an Electrocardiogram (EKG) Technician, you'll be an important member of the cardiology department, providing critical patient care and performing EKG tests. This demanding yet rewarding career puts you on the front lines of patient care, using advanced machines to run diagnostic tests, monitor cardiac rhythm, and measure heart rates. While most EKG Technicians work full-time in hospitals, opportunities may also be available in doctors' offices, medical laboratories, and outpatient clinics. If you're passionate about healthcare and looking for a challenging career, becoming an EKG Technician could be an ideal option.
