about our Training program
The American Red Cross Basic Life Support Training Program
Provide the care your patients need, when they need it. It's what you do every day. But just as protocols for drug interventions change, so do methods for non-invasive treatments, like CPR. As part of our commitment to support safer communities and support you in all that you do, we offer BLS for healthcare professionals, public safety personnel, and more.
Participants in the training course will gain the knowledge and skills needed to assess, recognize and care for patients who are experiencing respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, airway obstruction or opioid overdose. The course emphasizes providing high-quality care and integrating psychomotor skills with critical thinking and problem-solving to achieve the best possible outcome.
Through this course, we're able to keep you up-to-date on the latest techniques, so you can maintain certification and deliver the best possible care to those in need.
