Theatre
and drama have a long and rich history at Saint Joseph's College. The
Columbian Players, the college's theatre group, is the oldest
continuous extra-curricular group on campus. Each year the Columbian Players
and the Communication Department stage three major productions, (both
musicals and straight plays) and also provide other opportunities for
performers, aspiring directors and designers, and those who love the
theatre. If your interest is in the technical aspects of theatre, there
are always opportunities to participate in the backstage work of
production.

Saint Joseph's
College also offers a performance scholorship in theatre for
those students who have a love for the stage and wish to continue
developing their talents while at SJC. These performance scholorships
are open to all students who are applying to Saint Joseph's. For more
