The Columbian Players

Theatre and drama have a long and rich history at Saint Joseph's College. The Columbian Players, the college's theatre group, is the oldest continuous extra-curricular group on campus. Each year the Columbian Players and the Communication Department stage three major productions, (both musicals and straight plays) and also provide other opportunities for performers, aspiring directors and designers, and those who love the theatre. If your interest is in the technical aspects of theatre, there are always opportunities to participate in the backstage work of production.

 


Saint Joseph's College also offers a performance scholorship in theatre for those students who have a love for the stage and wish to continue developing their talents while at SJC.
