Debra Brouwer of Rensselaer, Ind., has been elected to the Saint Joseph's College Council of Fellows.

Brouwer grew up in Rensselaer and attended Rensselaer Central High School. She then went on to work for Jasper County Farm Bureau Cooperative, where she was a secretary and switchboard operator. She has spent the last 13 years working for the Jasper County Government in the Auditor's Office.

"SJC has always been an important landmark in the community," said Brouwer. "It is my goal to do whatever I can to support the College."
Brouwer and her husband, Jon, were inducted as Fellows of the College in June 2012.
