Yoga for Relaxation to Continue in July
Saint Joseph's College will offer another Yoga for Relaxation course this summer. Sessions will be held Tuesday evenings beginning July 10 and ending July 31, 5:30-6:20 pm CDT. Both courses will be held in the south Chapel basement on the SJC campus. The cost for the one-month course is $44, or $11 per session.
The course will be instructed by Melanie Clark, M.S.W. Melanie has nearly 16 years of experience teaching life skills, personal development, and leadership development to youth and adults.
Yoga for Relaxation will center on the goal of attaining a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility through physical, mental, and spiritual discipline. Yoga originated in ancient India and has been shown to build strength, increase flexibility, and alleviate stress. Participants must bring their own Yoga mat for both courses.
