The REU Program ( Research Experience for
Undergraduates ) Sponsored by the National Science
Foundation, this program makes possible a number of opportunities
for undergraduates to join research projects each summer at host
institutions. Each student is assigned to a specific
research project, working closely with the faculty, post-docs, and
graduate students. Seminars and social functions are also organized for

The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Argonne
National Laboratory, a major research center, is pleased to announce
